hey Phiz, cool list. Although we might want to take time, and weed thru the list, and compile a new one of Major metros. Say ones with 150k or greater, ones with Urban cores. Places like Cadilac Michigan have no urban core, that 48k pop figure comes from Wexford county, which is not by any stretch a metro area, or city. I'll go thru and make a list, and post it, if you wish : )

I was thinking of doing the same, except I couldn't decide where the cutoff should be (1,000,000? 500,000? 300,000?). You can do so if you want to. :)

Well D-town it depends on your definition. A city of 10,000 surrounded by a very rural and sparsely populated county does not constitute, an "urban" area, I would think.

Well D-town it depends on your definition. A city of 10,000 surrounded by a very rural and sparsely populated county does not constitute, an "urban" area, I would think.
It, however, does meet the definitions of a Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is at least one urban cluster of at least 10,000 but less than 50,000 population.

The Huron, SD, Micropolitan Statistical Area has a total population of just 15,896. And, it has dropped by 1,127 (6.62%) just since 2000.

yes but in terms of comparing cities, don't you think more obscure places should be omitted? Just go with Metropolitan areas, not Micropolitan.
