Kerrytown and Farmers Market pictures

3 posts in this topic

Since it's been getting warmer my parents and I went to the Kerrytown District this morning to go to the farmers market and Treasure Mart. We'll probably start going there every Saturday. You should visit Treasure Mart if you haven't, it has all sorts of antiques. Today I bought an awesome civil war plate, mainly because Abraham Lincoln is on it, it's a nice addition to my Abe Lincoln shrine in my room. Last summer I found a plate there just for Abe. I also got a whole bunch of really old postcards from various cities, they had really cool looking buildings on them.

Here is what Treasure Mart looks like:

Now for Farmers Market pictures. I always get a blueberry muffin there, yummy!:

My old man, he usually stands out cause he is about 6'7'':

Right outside the market were these Bush haters:

Cool photos! I went to my city's permanent (year-round) farmer's market (which we call the city market) today. These are great assets to the community.

Since I'm usually asleep when this is going on, I usually get to buy produce inside the Kerrytown market on the first floor. It's a great part of time and the historic architecture is nice. Great photos!
