Crap, you beat me to it

It was packed all day and night with the nice weather.(drove by a couple of times) People walking up from Boylan Heights, poeple parked up Hargett...access did not seem to be an issue. How can you ask for a better night time view. I plan on sampling the beer soon.

With the string of new places opening lately, now is as good a time as any to update the list.

The "center point" is the Hillsborough/McDowell corner, with the quads starting to the northwest and going clockwise. I tried to start at one point far from the "center" and work towards it.

An addtion to Quad 1 would be Black Flower (on Peace around the corner from Mo Joe's).

Also, in Quad 4 it is Ugly Monkey, not Funky. Although I like Funky Monkey better.

A new restaurant/bar called Mirage is going in to one of the empty locations on the ground floor of the West apartment building.

As I was leaving Jibarra last night I noticed that the space next door to it was open and had lights on. Some work was being done inside, but the space looked pretty much finished as a bar or nightclub. A guy who was working there told us that it will be opening next Thursday, May 13.
