Cleveland was nominated for this award from 21 finalists from around the world. There are 7 cities still competing for the title which will be announced in June in New York City. Cleveland is the only city in the U.S. in the final 7. This award is based on networking infrastructure and helping connect companies and people together. Cleveland is working on becoming one of the world's largest cities to offer free wirless to the entire area. The city headed by Cleveland One which is dedicated to working on this goal along with help from Ibm and Intel along with other high profile companies. The goal is to make the whole city of Cleveland wireless. Downtown is pretty much completly free wireless along with our airports and surrounding colleges and areas such as university circle.

^^C-Town very interesting, I was unaware of a contest like this, it is great that Cleveland is coming back in a big way representing not only the entire U.S. in this but what many powerbrokers thought was a region that wasn't the "future" of our country (aka rustbelt). Great news for the area!
