Which Southern city can claim to be the most fast paced? What cities are becoming this way?

From experience, I'd say Atlanta...and that mostly has to do with traffic.

And Nashville doesn't have an "e" after the "h."

Atlanta by a long shot. Fast drivers, fast changing skyline, fast everything. There just seems to be a go go atmosphere around here.

Miami beats everyone on the list. The city has changed so fast that southern culture is almost non-existent.

Atlanta gets my vote too. Everything there is fast-paced.

Houston is pretty fast-paced as well, but Atlanta takes it.

Atlanta no, I say Miami or Virginia Beach and DC.

Probably Atlanta. It seems the most metropolitan of these choices.

Virginia Beach? What's fast-paced about that suburb?

^The Beltway is a bit face paced and the Virginia Beach Expressway. I too, did not find VAB to be that fast paced. It has a ways to go to be Miami or Atlanta. I hope it does not become that.

Atlanta of course. That is why we are called "the city to busy to hate"

The Oceanfront from May to September.

Hey, and we're changing our suburban ways, albeit slowly. Give us time.

I lived near Houson for 12 years, and I would say it has fast living and driving.

How's life in Charlotte compared to life near Houston?

I just moved here from Savannah. Atlanta doesn't seem all that fast to me. Maybe it is, but I dunno. They just drive fast and have more stuff to do. It might be because I have visited Atlanta so much.
