Yeah it should be a nice looking airport. When will it be finished? I heard 2009.

I still think that they should have built a new airport between Springfield and Branson, perhaps south of Ozark. If Branson continues to boom, it is quite likely that they will build their own airport and Springfield will lose alot of business.

Southwest pretty much goes all over the country now. The benefit of Southwest is that they consistently have lower airfares.

I haven't been to the airport since Dec '91. Shoot that was the last time I was even on an airplane. How much has the airport changed since then?

Looks like this airport will be top of the line! I can't wait for it to open next winter. I hope we can lure in some low-cost carriers like Southwest, that would be awesom.

I have to agree with Slyder. It would be nice the next time I go to see my dad, he lives in Pheonix, I didn't have a layover in Dallas.
