Thanks for the tour. I was surprised by all the new building going on in Charlotte. I'll need to get down there sometime.

You sure you don't want pictures of The Park? It has really changed in the past few months.

I can only imagine.....it's what, up to the 18th floor already? We all know that it's steel frame construction will allow it to go up faster than Courtside.

If I have time tomorrow, I'll do some running around. Got some updates I need to do anyway.

And oh yes, the Park in all her glory will be included!

Actually, they decided to double the floors, it is now like 39 stories and climbing. It will keep going right into the clouds.

Wow, there is more development going on now in Charlotte than I have ever seen before at any one time. It looks like it's central core is undergoing the same renewal and broadening choice of living, food, shopping, and entertainment that it always wanted to become a truly cosmopolitan city. I'm glad that downtown/uptown has become a destination for major projects to keep it viable and vibrant.

Yeah, we're trying to keep pace with Dubai. HA HA......

Lord, I hope not, because I think Dubai is just developing touristy type nonsense for the sole purpose of saying "we've got the biggest this or that." I think they want to replace Las Vegas in flash, but that isn't my type of place. In terms of high rise residential development, Miami is far ahead of any other U.S. city, with as many high rises under construction or planned than they have built since they first started building supertall buildings. I'd rather see real growth with high quality residential, retail, food, entertainment facilities, museums/cultural eminities, businesses, etc. In other words, I'd like a real city, not some oversized Disney World.
