Broadwater Redevelpment

The redevelopment picture for the Broadwater Beach is beginning to come into focus. I'm starting a separate thread for this project as the Portofino tower is a separate development. I'd known that W.C. Fore and Roy Anderson were going to bring in new casino intrerests, but this is a major surprise. The tribe is also forging a partnership with MGM Mirage at their Connecticut property. I doubt this will be the case with the Biloxi propertyy as MGM is already well established at the Beau Rivage. I'll post more information as it comes in.

Plans for the development will likely be revealed in the coming months. It is worth noting that the Pequots will not be directly operating the casino. The newly formed Foxwoods Development Corp. will be developing the hotel. This should be interesting.

Wow, so this is the same tribe who owns Foxwood's... this is huge news for Biloxi if this thing is anywhere near what Foxwood's is. Very intersting, though, how they're entering Mississippi as a company rather than a tribe. They'll have to pay taxes like everyone else, so that's good for Mississippi.
