Forest Acres' Identity Crisis

This is a perfect example of the divisiveness that is hurting the midlands of South Carolina. I don't believe that the people of Forrest Acres really think this way; but that it is no more than a ploy of the politicians to cement their power and hold on to their positions in Forrest Acres.

I grew up in Forest Acres and I don't remember much sentiment about separatism. I think its silly, kind of like people saying they live in Lexington, instead of Columbia. Same metro, same city. Without Columbia, neither Forest Acres nor Lexington would be anything.
