What Metro are you closest to?

I would say 2/3 of the population is found in Jackson and south to the Coast - North MS, including the Delta, is sparsely populated - I think Harrison County will be as populous, if not more, than De Soto in 2020

You already know what it is, Gulf Coast stand up (Biloxi/Gulfport) is the metro I'm closest to.

Montgomery is closest to Biloxi, by about 20 miles or so over Jackson.

You have to rember that this is the only urban Mississippi forum on the 'net (at least that I'm aware of). And since its urban, there simply won't be as much for Mississippi since its very much an rural/agricultural state.

I'm generally impressed at the activity level here, though I am surprised there is not more interest in Gulport, since it is probably one of the largest urban revitalization projects in the country right now except for New Orleans.
