I saw these in Japan in 2001 so I don't think Dubai was the first.

I don't know as I did not have a mobile phone or car in Japan, but Japan's mobile phone network is the most advanced in the world.

Yes it is; it's amazing what they're doing with cell phones in Japan.

And while Dubai isn't the first place in the world to do this, it sounds very interesting in the least. I'd love to experience this firsthand.

I would be worried trusting my cars to this contraption though.... Id use a tin opener first :P
