Need some advice...

Has anyone subscribed to Angie's List in the Charlotte Area? Have you used any of the vendors they've recommended and did you run into any issues. I'm about to purchase an older "fixer-upper" and would like to use it as a tool for the plenty of home improvements projects on my to-do list. Let me know if you've had good-bad experiences or if you think it might be worth the $60 a year (i think).

Oh, and if anyone has a great referral for a GC or a foundation repair company (termites at part of my sill joist) let me know.
