A downtown hotel, Citi Centre Plaza Hotel (formerly the Alladin Hotel) closed today. It averaged only about 5-7 people every few months. It should either be resold or renovated (probably both).

Citi Centre Plaza Hotel will shut down today

By RICK ALM The Kansas City Star

The 186-room Citi Centre Plaza Hotel, 1215 Wyandotte St. in downtown, will close its doors this morning after the last guests check out.

That shouldn't take long.

Mike Robinson, a co-owner of the hotel and an executive with Southeast Management LLC, which has leased and operated the building since last summer, said only about five guest rooms were rented Thursday evening
