University of Pittsburgh Medical Center grows stronger in fight against cancer

Pittsburgh native son Arnold Palmer (Mr. Pittsburgh Golf--along with Fayette county native Jim Furyk) has just donated a gift of $2 million to the world renown (a USNews top 10 hospital center) for its cancer center, which by their account is the largest integrated cancer center in the world (more fullservice cancer treatment centers in thier network then any other hospital). The money will also be used to lure one of the world's leading experts on cancer to Pitt with an endowed chair! Palmer is a recent prostate cancer survivor.
