I am posting this for you folk that would like to know more about the history of Mecklenburg county and would like to see a few re-enactments.

Like Latta Plantation, almost no one, unless you are of Scottish ancestry, knows anything about Rural Hill Farm. This is a great park that exists between the Cowan's Ford Wildlife Refuge, and Latta Plantation park, and is one of of the reasons the Meckenburg side of the Catawba River between Mountain Island Lake and Lake Norman are protected from development.
