Compiled List of Dates: A good sticky topic?

Recommended Posts

I often hear mention of planning comission meetings open to the public, millages on issues, groundbreaking, and other similar (planning/construction related) dates, always a few days too late and in different threads. It seems that a moderated, frequently updated, permanent "Upcoming Events" thread would increase turnout and community involvement on the issues discussed on these boards.

Of course, this would require that everybody make additions when they get wind of things and also vigilant updating by moderator, which is asking a lot.

But I think a lot of people on here would find it extremely helpful if that information was in one place available at a glance. :)

We had one before, but no one was adding to it. We can try it again in the Coffee House section.
