Rendering of new Minneapolis residential Tower

This is the new tower that will be going up near the almost completed Grant Park tower in Minneapolis. The rendering, however, is a little dated because the new Tandem plans include a 26-story tower. They (Tandem) would really like to go to 32-stories so, let's hope it gets done.

Hopefully they can get the additional height. There seems to be the demand for the condos, so the taller they build them the better! LOL.

My memory may be failing here, but our city is exploding with developments the like sI haven't seen since the early 90's. It's insane to see a new project, usually residental, being announced almsot every week or two.

I said this in TCS....but doesn't that remind anyone else of Grant? I think they look reall really similar.

to me, only because they are both post modern: brick, fake setbacks, etc..

the roof will distinguish the two designs, but it doesn't help that they may be near the same height.
