The Randleman Dam

Does anyone have any ideas for a better name for the Randleman dam/lake. To me "Randleman Dam" just sounds so-so, why not name it in honor of someone of significance, geographic feature, etc.

I believe this is taking place near US 220 right? Deep River is getting dammed?

I am assuming that they named it Randleman Lake/Dam because of it's location near Randleman. I dont see any need for it be to named anything different.

^I figured that was the area i was talking about. So far, the area [zoom in] between W Academy (Randleman Exit) and the Randleman Road Exit (the northern extents of US 220 BUSINESS) has been clear cutted and is not covered with water yet. It will be interesting if lake front development will boom out there since the commute to Greensboro & High Point is VERY easy. Randleman already has a Wal Mart & booze can be sold there since Randolph County is mostly dry. Looks like Asheboro is going to get some competetion from its northern neighbor.

Check out the photos on the dam's progress being made. Also, i found this to be interesting too.
