Shreveport CBD skyline from atop the Horseshoe Casino parking deck. There was a really bright light source to my immediate left and over my head, so it really screwed with my shots. There are a couple little problems with this shot but it was the best I could do with that amount of light all around me. :D

Anyway, please enjoy...

And here's Shreveport's riverfront skyline at night, in all its neon glory. :) I could kick myself for not capturing more of the water, because it is so gorgeous with all the neon reflecting off it. But next time I will capture it.

Shreveport looks like a big city in those pictures.

Thanks, Dan, that's why I love these views. The views of Shreveport from Bossier City make it look very nice, and give it the most urban look. You can see all the newer and older buildings mixed in, the urban riverfront park, etc. And at nighttime, I think it looks awesome... especially the riverfront skyline with the casinos and the neon bridge.

One of these days I'm going to try and get a shot of the Boardwalk at night from 16 floors up. I'm hoping it looks like it does with the sky cams our local news channels show. Man it's SO bright and large, there's no missing it.

Here's one from the Discover Richmond Magazine from the Grand Illumination of the city of years past.

On Friday, December 1, 2006, The James Center will host the 21st Annual Grand Illumination, the brightest holiday event in downtown Richmond. Help count down as a million lights illuminate the night around 6:25 p.m. This is the kickoff of the holiday downtown. Millions of tiny lights outline the skyline's buildings and 100 whimsical reindeer at the festival that features choirs and the Snow Queen. 6 to 8 p.m. Free admission.
