Yes, both have positives but you also have water which really makes a city great! You've really got it all except height and hopefully that will happen soon. Could you imagine how awesome Tidewater would be if you put the all seven urban centers in one place?

Yeah Va Beach is the only city in HR to embrace the concept of tall buildings. They have the tallest in the state at over 500 feet.. Most of Norfolk's buildings are around 20-26 stories. Norfolk had a condo tower that was supposed to be built at about 500 feet but the developer lost his funding. But we're coming along just fine

I don't think Ive ever seen the Little Rock skyline from that view before! What looks like a new building off to the right of the picture, is it attached to the building to the right of it, or behind it?

The new building is next to the DoubleTree Hotel and it is condos. The condos were built on top (red brick) of what at one time was the UALR School of Law.

Thanks for the nice skyline pics!!

Fantastic shot of the Richmond skyline TBurban; like the way the skyline blends in behind the green canopy of trees; I dig the rapids on the river too :shades:

It's so clean! Nice shot of Midtown. The building to the right, is that the Federal Reserve?

The River District is the cluster of buildings to the left, then the Central Business District, Capital, Medical College of Virginia, and Tobacco Row (the buildings on the far right all renovated into lofts)

Nice! Trader Tower fits in really well to its historic color counterpart down the street. Are they on Granby?
