http://www.angelfire.com/mi4/forgottenmi/former.html is where I'm compiling my data. Yes, I know covering Detroit is no easy task, but if anyone knows of any I've missed, or any that are still open even though I have them listed as closed...

The Baskin-Robbins listings came from this one guy's webpage - apparently he got some sort of award from Baskin-Robbins for having eaten at over 2000 different Baskin-Robbins stores, and he listed each one he's been to. His page for Michigan is http://web2.airmail.net/ron/BRST-Michigan.htm; this is where I got most of the closed-up locations for Michigan. I had a hard time deciphering some of his listings (e. g. "7/52" for Owosso; I assume he meant M-52) and "23215 Marter" in St. Clair Shores.
