Which city has a better riverfront?

Actually, one of the nice things about Nashville's river is that's it's wide enough to be usable and worth developing, but at the same time not so wide that you can't use both sides of the river for an event.

I am amazed that 100,000 people were there! That's how many were at the Nashville fireworks, and I thought that number was huge!

Chattanoog's Riverfront is so nice two events from Georgia have been moved to it. The Head of the 'Hooch Regatta moved to it last year (from the Chattahoochie in Roswell/Atlanta), and Tour de Georgia has a phase that ends there also.

Since the post above the 'Hooch Regatta has grown to the 2nd largest rowing event after Boston's Charles Regatta. The 'Hooch attandance should be up 25% with 12000 visitors and 9000 rowers.
