Possible New Biofuel Plant?

4 posts in this topic

This would be a good reuse for a relatively modern facility that Pfizer plans to close this year:

Drug plant could make biofuels

A consortium is investigating whether it can be converted to process crops and plant waste to fuels.

If they can make it work, it would be cool and good for the area. They plant a lot of corn and agriculture products on the west side of Michigan. They could also use the rail lines to ship more products up from Indiania and Iowa too.

They also mentioned having a deep water port in Lake Macatawa as a big plus for shipping.
