Marie Kirkley-Bay --a very small minded legislator

No wonder Hartford is a mess with these self-important morons putting their out of control egos before the people's business. Guess she couldn't cotact anyone. She sat back and when folks didn't come bowing and scraping to her she torpedoed legislation with self-serving language.

This is stupid as hell. There's no way she didn't know the meetings were taking place. She just wasn't invited because as she state herself she was "violently opposed" to the proposed site of the project. These people are terrible for Hartford. She is not in a position to decide where they build the school. That is up to the city. They chose the spot and because she doesn't like it she sinks the whole effort. Unbelievable.

If people keep voting for these morons, then I can't see Hartford going very far in the future. There's just to many obastcles like this. And the union BS going on right now just makes matters worse. Honestly I'm starting to believe certain people in Hartford would like to keep the status quo.

Its unbelieveable that someone would try to sabotage a big project like this for no better reason than trivial spite. Small mindedness at its worst.

Believe it or not, this used to be business as usual in Hartford with the way City Council ran things.
