1st Quarter Downtown Residential Report

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership has just published the first quarter market report for residential living downtown.

It's impressive that proposed projects will double current housing. It's seems that downtown as a neighborhood is really in it's infancy. With all the talk of young professionals living downtown or most likely to live downtown with their disposable incomes. My guess is that the baby boomers will truely blow the doors off of the housing trend.

Great link, tooluther. Very interesting reading. This trend is a very very good sign for the future of downtown Pittsburgh as a viable urban center to compete with the best of them! A lot of work left to done though.
