Interesting piece on the rich sports history and heritage of the mid-Mon Valley, who's sports museum is in the Belle Vernon Holiday Inn (can it get any more Yinzer then that, or is that the height of Yinzerdom? ).

Beautiful tribute to a region that really invented sports as we know it today in the U.S. Though this museum is primarly for the mid-Mon, if you consider the entire Mon Valley such stars as Marino, Curtis Martin, Unitas, Sam Huff, Swin Cash, Jerry West, Josh Gibson, got their start or spent their best years.
