The plans for a casino property in Diamondhead (off Interstate 10) are not dead. Casinos Austria is apparently developing a master plan for the property with an experienced Florida firm. Trump, is, of course, not affiliated in any way with the property any longer. As with the rest of the casino and hotel projects on the Mississippi coast, the lack of a willing lending atmosphere has hampered development seriously. This may be a good thing in certain respects. This company maintains that they are serious about building a decent project. That remains to be seen. I will start a new thread for this when such information arises to make it worthy of one.
