I took these pictures on the same day that I was in Centennial Olympic Park taking pictures of all the kids in the fountains. This was an art festival that the city was hosting in the Woodruff Park area in Fairlie-Poplar.

If only Atlanta looked like this every day.

Note: A couple pics are smaller than the rest because they show up clearer that way.

I might be going to the state capitol museum later this week, so keep an eye out.

Historic Building

Anybody here have a clue what the name of this building is?

Great pictures IC! That building appears to be the Healey Building, built in 1914:

Does it have a twin? If so, then it's most likely it. Although, your picture is a lot better than the pictures of it on Emporis. :D

No, it doesn't have a twin. Thanks for the help!

How did you find out so much about these buildings?

Google and emporis pretty much. I just searched for the address of one of those businesses and it said 65 Forsyth (I believe). Then traced from there to emporis, which has every high-rise in every city catalogued.

Great photos, IC! Every time I see photos that you've taken of Fairlie-Poplar, I am amazed at how much it resembles Main Street in Downtown Greenville, SC. I must get over to Atlanta for a weekend soon...had planned on being over there this weekend to catch the Red Sox series, but had other plans supercede. Fairlie-Poplar looks very cool! :shades:
