I never quite understood the whole BBQ/Menage combo They just tried too hard with Menage "super or ultra club" or whatever gimmicky tagline they used and it came off as lame in my opinion. We are not New York or LA and never will be. I hope the next inhabitant of this space which has become a game of musical chairs goes for the more lowkey and friendly vibe. Uptown needs more mellow and less attitude.

Watch for the aforementioned restaurant Brasserie (supposed to be open early, maybe even breakfast, till late night -- so it isn't a "coffee shop" but it is getting close) in this site along with the lounge atmosphere on other floors that Charlotte badly needs!
