AMILI Residential tower progress (Block 22)

I have already posted begining of the month pics on this project in another thread but I will be posting all future pics of AMILI in this thread.

Update: They have started working on the base of where the crane will go up. They already have the first piece of the shaft for a dark colored crane. We should see the crane go up within the week. This will be the first of many cranes that will grace the downtown Austin skyline for the next 4 years!!!!

Wow, that's cool, thanks for the info. I like the title of the one article, "Poof! Second Street becomes a neighborhood from scratch!" That's funny. And Sushi Sake sounds like my kind of place.

According to the building permits, the space for the AMLI project breaks down as follows:

Apartment - 211,814 sf

Garage - 161,175 sf

Restaurant - 29,537 sf

Retail - 6,447 sf

Office - 5,391 sf

Several stories are recognizable now. Just drove by the building today. Nice progress.
