Tallest skyscraper ever proposed in your city?

There was once a proposal in my current hometown (Winston-Salem) to build a 55 story tower for BB&T and it kind of resembled the BOA tower in my other hometown Atlanta.

In Atlanta there was a proposal for a new tallest called "Atlanta Tower" at 130 floors.

There was a proposed 150 floor building called the Phoenix Tower. I don't know if there was ever a rendering, but it'd be cool to see!

In Boston, a proposal for our tallest building was just announced yesterday!!! It could be 1,000 ft.+, which would surpass our current tallest, the Hancock tower at 790 ft.

The tallest building ever proposed for Huntsville was a 21-story condo tower. It was announced a few years ago, but nothing has materialized (yet). Hopefully, some more proposals like this will come in the next few years, as the city is bracing for a major population boom.

I wonder where Detroit would be today if the Depression hit in 1939 instead of 1929...

Detroit would most likely be twice as big. Skyline wise at least. Plus we would have a subway.

Signature Tower is the tallest proposed in Nashville and is now a done deal. 55 floors and at least 850 feet tall will be complete in 2009. I'm not good with pictures so somebody else can post one if they want.
