Great commericals! Too bad the one that actually airs on TV, the guy says, "because I'm making up for my shortcomings", instead of "because mine's only yea big".

In regards to the first advert, this isn't new for VW. It's "Think Small" ad campaign from the 1960s is considered one of the ten best of the 20th century.

I've noticed that one plays on network tv and the other on cable... now guess which!

There is a considerable difference in the tone of the shotcomings/yea big guy between the two commercials. He's more depressed in the yea big one.

And I hated the pimp the auto ones... so annoying.

I've always loved VW's commercials.

I think my all-time favorite was the Jetta ad from maybe five or six years ago, where the guy in the Jetta is late for what you think is his wedding, then at the end it's implied that he's going to stop someone else's. Great stuff!
