High Point building a new transportation terminal

I found this rendering on the city website. This new transportation terminal will help the furnishings market. Im not sure if this is being built near the train station though.

It looks like its going to be pretty big. I like the look of it too. Its very modern. It kinda looks like a larger version of the bus station in downtown Winston-Salem.

From the look of the rendering, it will bascially be at the same spot the current Market Bus Center is. If you haven't seen it, its at the corner of Commerce Ave and Wrenn St. It pretty much looks like that now, without the roof. I like the rendering tho, its cute.

Too bad there isn't any light rail to go with it. At nay rate it looks great.

I persoanlly think downtown High Point needs streetcars/trolley. It would be a great transportation service for the furiture market.
