No, the massing will be largely the same but the stacked box look will be simplified and the new design will be more practical to accommodate mechanicals on the rooftop and a more premium level of apartments on the highest floors including larger ceilings and balconies. Still will be one of the most interesting looking buildings to be built out soon.

Love the red brick. One thing I keep thinking about is that the main tower here will stick out a lot in its current location, away from most of the tallest high-rises in Raleigh. But I don't think that's a bad thing, if anything I'm hoping it will encourage more high-rise development in between those two areas to sort of connect them over time. Perhaps we will one day consider something like Nash Square to be the central heart of the urban core, instead of Fayetteville St. 

This would also connect all the development in Glenwood South to the "center" of the city a little more. Right now they are also somewhat distanced. Would help walkability!
