Fairbanks is like the 2nd largest city in Alaska at about 40,000 people just a touch above Juneau however Juneau seems to have more of a skyline Its micropolitan area is over 80,000 but encompasses 7,362 square miles, an area roughly the same size as New Jersey!

my brother is going to college at Fairbanks UAF right now and in the last few months its gotten down to -50 below zero..
