The Salute Wine Festival is happening tomorrow (Saturday) in downtown Winston-Salem. It should be a great boost to the downtown area by incorporating the fast growing wine industry into a major event downtown. Hopefully it will be an annual event. They are having over 20 winereies and a ton of food from various downtown restaurants and other food vendors.

It will be along fourth street. It will be interesting to see the turn out at this Downtown wine festival compared to the WSJS festival at Tanglewood.

The Journal had a front page article about it Thursday. Article.
