Yeah unfortunately though it's not going to be one of their towers. Guess those will be built a little later.

They have to do proper groundwork for those first. We will start seeing steel go up probably by the beginning of next year.

They have the hole dug for the tower that will be put up on this phase. I think I heard that the Barber Group and Dallas Real Estate are committed to being the first tennants in that tower. The renderings and site plan on their web site show 2 additional towers for phase 2, which are on the other side of Vantage.

I forgot to mention this, looks like they were about to start doing something not too far across the street. It also has a Dallas and Barber signs. But I still haven't heard what they're plans are for that location. I don't think it has anything to do with the Bellafont development.

I thought it was just going to be a suburban home development.

I think that Arvest has plans to build a 8000 sq ft building there and move out of their other branch down the street. I think that the rest will be for offices, my some sort of residential.

They must be closer to widening Joyce because they were taking out all of the Bradford Pear trees in front of the Posst office this afternoon. So hopefully we can get a turn lane on a least part of Joyce and another stoplight.

I wonder if they'll be planting any more back to replace those. Not sure if there's room though. Sort of a shame, I thought that area looked pretty nice in the spring when they were in bloom. But a turn lane is certainly going to be needed with all that's going to be happening over there.

They probably won't be planted back just like they were, but I assure you that Bellafont will be putting 100s of trees on the property. I will take turn lanes on Joyce over trees any day!

I definitely hope they plant trees but something other than Bradford pears. They only have a "life" of 20 years and the wind and ice in NWA really wreck them. Sure they

I don't mind having some bradford pears in the area but I do think they tend to be used too much around here. Seems like for a while everyone was planting just them and not any other trees. Aside from their spring blooms I'm not that impressed with them.

I think those are the trees that broke really easily in a windstorm last year around the 4th of July, but it was pretty dry I guess.

You be in Fayetteville yesterday??? Yeah, you can probably just park on Steele Blvd or across the street from it at McAllisters Deli.

Be careful where you park. Although I don't think it will be quite as bad down there. Maybe this year isn't as bad since there's more shopping destinations in Rogers now. I remember going to Best Buy around this time last year and it took me 20 minutes literally to get back out of the parking lot because traffic was so bad.

One building down, about a dozen more to go. The site was busy with activity today. Unfortunately, none of the major towers have started construction.

I also got a picture of the Barber Group's other project across from Bellafont. Any ideas on what exactly is being built there?
