Pomeroy Development Cirp. has announced plans to rennovate the 20-story Capitol Tower located at 206 E. Ninth St. in downtown Austin. The building will remain as office space when it reopens in the middle of 2007.

With a tightening office market, Pomeroy now will have one of the largest contiguous blocks of available space in downtown in its Capitol Tower. The building's 736 parking spaces

This is the first time I have seen this, but I don't remember seeing any building like this one downtown.
