It was hot today so I couldn't catch all the animals: 95 with 60% humidity!

Just some deer and hoofstock.

More to come. I couldn't get everything because of glare. The lions were hiding and couldn't get them. Norfolk zoo has a whole lot more planned. Can't wait till they build some more exhibits.

I was just at the virginia zoo last weekend with some friends. I got a lot of pictures as well, but couldn't post them as my computer's been fickle lately. the rhino's weren't out when i was there, sad. the entrance to the park impressed me quite a bit.

Nice pics! unfortunately, the last time I was there was in 2001, BEFORE the new things like the fancy entrance and exhibits were opened.

But I definitely think an impressive zoo is important to a large metro area.
