fireworks

Each year, the City of Tucson puts on a fireworks display from "A" Mountain. This year, I began watching it on my patio and was pretty unimpressed, so I went inside. About 9:30, the wind started howling and the fireworks suddenly stopped. Nature answered our bombas y roquetas coloradas with its own fierce show of force. Quite a storm, too. You could see the lightning coming, but I didn't know whether or not it was just the flash of more fireworks.

I should have pictures (although crappy) tomorrow. Any others from one of state's fireworks shows? Matt, I know you were planning on heading to the Salt River Pond.

LOL Salt River Pond. Yes, give me a little bit of time I just got back. We got stuck on the 202, on the way there since noone in the valley can drive. But I gotta say Colin, I was damn impressed with Tempe's fireworks. That town just keeps amazing me.

Ok, Pics from Tempe. So We were running behind and we left late, we sat in traffic for two hours and were about a mile away from where the fireworks were taking place. But we still go some good shots. Tempe rocks!~

This one I love, you can see the tower cranes from some of the

mid rises going up in Tempe. Also those lights, next to the fire works

are planes flying into Sky Harbor. It was awsome lightening all around

fireworks, I would have LOVED to have been flying into PHX from

during the fireworks. Talk about the best seat in the house.

Next year i'm placing people stategically all over the valley, my brothers

got a spot on North mountain. Hoping to get a few different shows in the shot

You all better have some shots to share from around AZ or Tucson or PHX

one thing that was awsome was the lightening storm that was going on around

during the show. We weren't lucky enough to get any in the photos though.

Why thank you, I didn't take them myself. I come from a family of profesional Photographers. It works to my advantage.
