 GOODBYE, CRANE: Today was the last day for the 198-foot-tall tower crane that's risen over the terminal since last fall. Its work on the roof canopy is complete (but construction will continue without it). 

What happens now: The even bigger Demag 8800 crane will be used to dismantle the tower crane the next couple of nights. Then, the massive yellow crane will be dismantled over the next few weeks. (It's so big that it takes that long.) #BNAVision

Correct. It will take a few weeks to move

Did the article say what was in process? I know we're waiting on Party Fowl, Chick Fil A, Tailgate, 3 Casks, Vino Fiesta, and Puckett's off the top of my head.

Amazon launches a 39,000 sq. ft.  Amazon Air Nashville cargo station that will feature daily flights in and out of Nashville International Airport.

It will include an onsite area to sort packages bound for their next destination and will be managed by an Amazon logistics partner, LGSTX Cargo Services, according to a news release. The site is expected to create more than 70 jobs.

Here’s a couple, but subject to change: Bongo Java, Southernaire Market, The Southern Steak & Oyster, Ole Smokey Moonshine, Half Moon Empanada and Two Old Hippies. Opening dates range from November 30, 2021 to August 31, 2023

Also, work will be underway soon to refurbish all restrooms in B and C. They will match the new D restrooms

We are going to be the coffee capital of the Southwest network presuming "Bongo Java" is coffee, that would be the sixth coffee concept. 

Not thrilled about the bathrooms, those hand dryers in D are worthless.

 Runway 2R/20L reopened this past Monday after a 16-month planned reconstruction. Here are some quick facts about our easternmost runway adjacent to Donelson Pike. Interesting stuff!

I have not yet been able to confirm, but I believe Party Fowl’s airport location is now open. My speculation is based on a few photos posted to Facebook by the head of Donelson/Hermitage Chamber of Commerce (who happens to be the mother of the owner of Party Fowl).

edit-I just got confirmation from my source (the mom noted above) that Party Fowl BNA is open!

One thing's for sure if flying out of C... There is now a decent chance* that your neighbor has put hot chicken into their belly via either Party Fowl or 400 degrees.  Could be a long flight for both of you.

*This is especially true currently due to the limited options.

Our groundbreaking for BNA’s Hilton-branded hotel and Terminal Garage development starts now! This 14-story development will include a four-level garage and 10-story on-airport hotel. Coming in 2023!

At the announcement today the hotel was referred to as 14 floors with 292 rooms (as before).  The two renderings on display included a new one (#2 below). In all cases, it appears that they are adding 4 levels of new garage parking in the floor count.

Does anyone know if the covered plaza in between the hotel and parking garage could be turned into a light rail station in the future considering that was where it was originally proposed? It just seems like they would keep the option open, but from the looks of the renderings, the garage is blocking where the tracks would go.

It was designed and built to support a light rail station. The structure is already built
