two years ago i posted looking for a housemate, and i got a response from a woman whose husband was temporarily relocating to Providence to work, and offered him up as a submissive. not only did she offer that he'd pay rent, but he'd also do all the housework. tempting as it sounded, i opted for a rock star instead.

when I lived in western coventry (the boon docks) people would put old furniture in front of thier houses...

...and keep on using it - along with thier old appliances!

I know - that was weak, but it's been a slow day on UP PVD...

I just called Traffic Engineering to compliment them on their quick work in repairing 4 Don't Walk signals at the corner of Hope and Rochambeau. Their responsiveness is a good sign (albeit a small one) that government services in the city are improving for the long haul and will beget a more livable and attractive urban landscape.
