I took these pictures from the car today as I was going to work. This is a picture of the distribution center being built north of downtown at the I-24/I-65 merge and adjacent to Brick Church Pike. That hill used to be very desolate looking. This has totally transformed the area. I'm going to try to get a picture from I-65 traveling south as that view is even more impressive.  As an added bonus, you can see the north end of the skyline from my side mirror.

Wow! I approve!! Love the curve of Thompson. Great vista! And oh, by the way, the Bridgestone! (I know you said other projects)

Imagine with the Cambria, the Olmstead, the Marriott, City Lights and BWSC.  In the next wave.. the Joseph, the Hyatt, and the TBA project at KVB and 8th Avenue Roundabout. And dare I say federal courthouse that does not look like a cheap hotel?  I would include the MDHA Trolley Barns project, but so far I'm unimpressed by its visual impact.  In just a few years that shot will be stunning. For all its shortcomings, at least the Westin is not a box.  And while I'm on the topic, Nashville really really really needs a 50+ story tower right there in the midst of all that density.  Then downtown will be impressive from all angles.

I agree. The project I really want to happen is the Buckingham Gulch tower. I don't care if they scale it down a few stories (hopefully they dont pull a virgin and make an architectural masterpiece into some turd) It would really stand out. Hope to hear some news about it

Larry McCormack from The Tennessean found a nice spot.  'Twill be a glorious day when the east bank south of KVB finally gets cleaned-up and properly developed to make view like this even better.

That's an incredible shot.    If I'm not mistaken, that is roughly the view from the proposed park down below Rolling Mill Hill.
