^ ^ ^ that NES site has a ton of prime real estate for the future.  And I've always wondered about that land behind Eleven Eleven (bottom pic) next to theCSX tracks. Who owns that?

As I recall, I thought that was to be phase 2 of the eleven-eleven development.

Some probably by whoever owns that Granger building. Are there any plans to sell or redevelop that property?

Granger was offered a mint before Cap view. They said they want to be there and as far as I know they own the land.

That's kind of depressing. That stretch of Nashville was much more vibrant in 1960 than it is today.

It's a little deceptive, though.  Instead of retail and gas stations, we now have the JWM, MCC, CMHoF, Bridgestone Arena, Bridgestone Americas, a city park and more coming hotels and office buildings on that stretch.

I have seen it quite crowded, especially at rush hour, which is what I'd guess was the time the 1960 pic was taken. If you look, there's not a lot of high density residential and non-auto oriented businesses even then.
