The plain building on the right is still there today along with a few others on the south side of Union. Alas, the magnificently ornate ones on the left fell long ago.

Belcourt Theater remodeling is well underway.

Art Avenue Lofts building at 231 5th Ave N.  One of these buildings kick of tucked away in downtown.  The second picture shows the area in between 231 and 239 where there are individual balconies for owners and a walkway connecting the two buildings.

If you guys want a great view of the city, go to the top of the parking garage next to doctor's building at St. Thomas midtown on 20th Ave N.  Took this with a cell phone...so not great quality...but what a view!

That's going to look amazing when the 222 Tower rises... then it will be a "solid" wall from left to right... 222; Sobro; Encore; B'stone; Westin

I took this photo over the weekend. Do you think the gap between Batman and Pinnacle will ever be filled? I understand Broadway separates the two (and there may be some building restrictions because of this), but it would be great to connect the two halves of downtown's skyline.

The convention center and Cambria will probably fill it in from certain angles, Westin and Turnberry too for that matter. Directly in between the two probably won't happen though.

From the other angle, looking north from across the Cumberland (i.e. the Siegenthaler bridge), the Emery project at the old Convention Center site will help a lot.
