I love this art! I think it looks great and fits into that space perfectly.

I just feel like it's incomplete...kinda like the Music Row Roundabout with the statues.  There was something incomplete about it...until they recently revealed the water feature...which makes that an incredible, notable artwork.  Just seems like something should go with this art...like neon lights or some other feature that brings it to life.

I completely agree...I mean, I suppose it has potential for sure but I'm kinda left thinking, 'so...it's just sticks jutting out from a muddy grass patch?'  It does seem like there'd be some other feature to really set it off and make it look more established.  Right now, it has a very unfinished look about it.

The one thing that always looked odd to me in the MR Roundabout were the little bushes around the edge and the grass.  It just didn't fit.  It looked "bushleague" (no pun intended).  Now...with the water-feature...world class.

If they just leave all of that area around these poles as grass...it will always look unfinished.  Even coming out of concrete would look more complete and more "urban."  Stained concrete?  Some type of pavers?  Something other than grass.

Apologies for some issues with my photo posts.  For some reason, the forum set-up is putting the photos in a different order from what I am posting them.  When I attempt to go back and edit to make things flow better, it won't allow any corrections.  If anyone has ideas on how to remedy this, I would appreciate it.  I've been able to make corrections easily before, but in the past few days that option is not working, no matter what computer or server I use.

Titanhog where did you access the camera? I looked at their website and the old view is still showing. I actually emailed them last week asking if the camera could be panned over to see the rest of the skyline. Not sure why I'm having issues seeing the image that you posted.

This one was off of the News 2 camera at the ASC...which I think is a little different than the actual ASC camera.

Oh I see. I wasn't aware that News 2 had a camera.  I will have to go to their website and check it out. Thanks!

Thanks but I found it. It's a nice view. It would be nice if the Gulch and midtown were included. It's like having a live window of Nashville here in Virginia Beach!

MLBrumby posted these a few weeks ago.  Hope he doesn't mind that I'm "cutting and pasting" his message from page 126.  I don't know if these will be live links or not...but you can always cut and paste the url.
