That’s true, I wasn’t thinking of either project to be honest. More so just what could be seen for that portion of downtown in that picture.

This may be off topic, but I'm in the process of building a website for a new business of mine and am looking at incorporating some images of the Nashville urban landscape and skyline.  I'm having issues finding any decent royalty free/commercial use images that aren't the view from Nissan Stadium looking towards Downtown.

 

Does anyone have links to online galleries that suit what I'm looking for?  I'm hoping for something in public domain to help keep costs down, but would be willing to pay for the right pictures.

This forum (and particularly this thread) is loaded with urban and skyline images taken by various UP users posting their own pics.    If you see any you like, you could PM the poster and ask permission (which might cost you a beer, but will probably be granted).

That pic just proves how bad 505 needs a crown of some sort. Even a set of Christmas lights at the top would do it wonders - lol

I look at that picture and still can't believe it's Nashville.  Pretty much the entire bottom left quadrant of that picture is composed of buildings that weren't there just a few years ago.  It was a stroke of genius to dismantle the old Thermal Transfer Plant and replace it with Ascend Amphitheater, as I don't think most of those new buildings would be there if that garbage disposal plant was still around.

^  It was the first inaugural Nashville Dairy Festival.    One of the dairymen had a great idea of filling the Cumberland River with milk!    It  also happens that it was the last Dairy Festival.
