^^ I have heard Opryland hotel is a Christmas wonderland.  I will visit when that's happening.

Yes, dude, they go all the way off. My office is very close to the hotel + mall but I have yet to check it out in its full Yuletide regalia.

Sunday afternoon was my first time to see the suffrage monument in place at Centennial Park.

I would go to Alan LeQuires open studio when he let other artists use his studio for group sculpting sessions and got to watch him develop this monument from simple maquettes to the full scale oil clay figures used to make bronze casts. It was very inspirational with regard to detail. He did tons of research and spent one evening just getting the shoelaces right.

And it wasn't all classical methods. He scanned the smaller scale model (maquettes) to have another company carve, from the scanned model, a full size replica in hard foam blocks which allowed application of clay in which the final details were applied. He is a well respected master of his craft and I was privileged to get to know him.

PS; The monument was originally planned to go on the war Memorial Plaza between the Hermitage Hotel, where the suffrage organizers stayed and the State Capitol, but State political powers that be said the Plaza was for War Memorials only. So it was put in Centennial Park where 'some rallies' were held.
