I love this shot.  The depth that it gives the city is remarkable.  It really gives you a view of Nashville that is rarely seen.  I wish it had more of SoBro.  But I really like how it captures the varying heights of the buildings in the core.  It does show the need for more height between Charlotte Pike and Broadway in Midtown.

Need more height everywhere but that's just my opinion lol

The good thing is that it won't be long before a lot of taller buildings fill in that very shot.

For example:

Right between Nashville City Center and ST Financial Center, almost dead-center of photo, The Amazon Towers will rise

Look at the hole for Broadwest and imagine 2 towers and a lot of lowrise density there

Gulch construction: Imagine the Demonbreun Office Building (u/c) being topped out, Grand Hyatt, and Endeavor completed, as well as the W hotel (right between Batman Building's uprights)

Embassy Suites (just to left of Batman)

And yes, I'd like to see a 7-8 story building very similar to the 333 Pine St. building in the Gulch go right on that parking lot at Church/2nd.  I can imagine the screeching and scratching that would arise over building something that 'tall' on the storied "Market Street", but you just can't get some ppl to see that it would be better than that parking lot.
