The 5th + Broad office tower should pretty much fill that entire gap from this angle.  If this were looking directly south down 5th/6th, the 5th + Broad office tower would be largely blocked by 505 and First Tennessee Tower.  

NashWellington11 is right.  I scoped it out this morning and the top of the Cumberland is right in line with the gap.  The office tower will be just to the left of the Cumberland and mostly fill the gap.

I had some friends that were in town staying at the Thompson a couple of monday's ago.  Went to the Pub for dinner and went up to the rooftop for a couple of drinks afterwards.   Place was packed and had some nice views up there.
